This comic book, like its peer, the episode Zuko, Alone, realistically depicts people making every effort to stay apart from their loved ones and putting their mental stability to the test against despots like the Fire Nation. Suki makes an effort, but she is motivated by the fact that she is separated from Team Avatar and her Kyoshi Warrior sister. Suki is portrayed in this stand-alone comic attempting to maintain her sanity while imprisoned, even going so far as to enlist other inmates to help her escape or simply incite a riot.
This episode, which shares the same name as one of the best Avatar episodes called Zuko, Alone, follows Suki while she is imprisoned in the Boiling Rock.
